Bikram Yoga has changed my life.
I started initially because of the excellent crèche facilities.
Unexpectedly it also sent me on a personal journey I never want to stop.
It has given me the self honesty to improve my health including quitting smoking, once and for all.
It has improved my relationships, including the big one at home, by making me calmer, less reactive, and less angry and with better perspective.
My endurance and pain threshold has increased dramatically (and I didn’t ever think I had problems).
Even an awful visit to the dentist can be managed by recalling lessons learnt in yoga; to concentrate on the breath.
My attention is focused and my passion is more powerful.
My belief in myself, and my abilities is beyond I’d ever imagined.
Let alone the benefits to my sore neck, my posture, my complexion, my heart, lungs and capacity to breathe.
Bikram Yoga has given me back a real life and ability to feel energetic and take on the world.

When I started Bikram Yoga (aged 54) I thought there is no way I am going to be able to do even half the moves, now, I smile as a watch newcomers thinking the same same thoughts - only they are half my age. You'll be amazed at how the body responds
to Bikram - not only that you build energy and discipline by being a regular. What you realise is this - there are no limits to what you can do.

I have been doing Bikram Yoga for over 6 years. While I still wake up dreading the intense class ahead, I always thank myself afterwards for making the effort. I have practised different kinds of yoga, but Bikram takes the prize for providing the most stretching and calorie-burning
workout. I know I have more musculo-skeletal integrity from practising
Bikram yoga, so I don't get injured very easily. And if I have an injury, I get
over it very quickly. It's got to be one of the best preventative tools
around for good ongoing health.

I am a 33 yr old mother of two young children who has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of Parkinson’s Disease. The condition affects my coordination of movement caused by a reduction of dopamine in my brain. The major symptoms I experience include tremor, difficulty in balance, stiffness and rigidity of muscles. Other problems I endure are fatigue, poor gait, difficulty in walking, disturbances in sleep, muscular aches and pain and depression. Medication only masks the symptoms and comes with side effects. I was in search of a way I could bring some peace and harmony back into my chaotic body. Finding Bikram Yoga was the substantial turning point to my health. Bikram’s Yoga has improved my life – mind, body and soul.
